Purple says on one hand it's ready to go right away and I find others say to give it 13 hours. It’s ready to go, I think the website says it will take 24 hrs to fully expanded. I didn’t notice a difference between the first 10 min and then 24 hrs later. Ours was ready to go right away. We tried using normal sheets and every time the grid moved the sheets flew off the corners. The labor sale is already announced and running. You can get your purple 3 actually on sale. The sheets are bundled, so you don’t have to get them if you’re unsure. Definitely don’t need the sheets for the feel.
