its a production guage of sorts. if the colors are vibrant it means that particular gacha will produce better quality items sometimes, for example loot crystals and higher ammounts of resources. From what I found online from other reddit posts, people have been reporting that breeding Gachas is the best way to get Element Dust. However, each breed takes about 8 hours and you would need ~300 breeds to get Element Dust. Gatcha sometimes wont process just walks around with mistletoe in inventory not eating. Other times it eats and doesn't spit out. Don't know if bug or intended.
