Obituary. A kind and gentle soul, a gracious and loving lady, Jo Ann Williams James, entered eternal rest on Friday, August 27, 2021 at the age of 85. She was born July 11, 1936 in Burgaw where she lived many years of her wonderful life. Jo Ann was daughter of Samuel "Snookie" Lee Williams, Jr. and Vilma Alice Erdei Williams.The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Monday evening at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Wallace. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Willard Baptist Church with Pastor David Knowles officiating.
