Actually i vary rarely ever see any reporting on D2. my question is, has anyone else...With kids playing both I would say the biggest difference is that D3 players can take a semester abroad and D1 players can go in the summer. D3 has less time spent in fall ball but not that different time commitment in the spring unless you are talking D1 lacrosse factories where extra time beyond NCAA rules is mandatory.

D1 kid quit after a couple years because the sport felt like a job and he needed to focus on school. The kid at the D3 school had a much better sports experience and got a job on wall street after, so based on his experience, I favor D3. report. 06/19/2023 14:13. The F&M schedule shows the Gettysburg game is moved to very early in the conference schedule (second conference game), this game is traditionaly in late April.We all understand the talent in DI is "polarized", the best lacrosse athlete's interest is already channeled to certain schools. Kids who are on the bubble of playing DI ball they can go play for a Vermont, Jacksonville, Hartford, Sacred Heart or Presbyterian and will most likely go below 500...I was a walk-on and the coach didn't really know my name for a few weeks, but I ended up playing for 4 years on a nationally-ranked D3 teams. Just work hard and be willing to play wherever. It will probably be harder to play for a high-level D1 team, but you can certainly play D3 or lower-level D1 without getting recruited.
